Terms Of Service

Computer Repair Direct LLC Terms Of Service:

Client agrees to pay Computer Repair Direct LLC to analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot & repair the device(s) as per price paid in customers online shopping cart via the Computer Repair Direct LLC website.

Payment will be secured using a debit or credit card via Paypal prior to remote connection (no PayPal account required).

If repair(s) are not completed successfully, the client will immediately be issued a full refund via PayPal for the device(s) that were unable to be repaired. Although it can take PayPal or clients financial institution up to 72 hours to process the refund, most PayPal refunds are within 5 minutes.

Although Computer Repair Direct LLC will endeavor to conduct all activities in a timely manner, client understands that troubleshooting some issues may be a very time-consuming process. If clients computer is infected with a virus, malware, adware or spyware, the overall speed of clients computer will be slow. Therefore, any virus or malware scan or removal will take considerably longer on a computer infected with a virus or malware than on a computer that is not infected.

While Computer Repair Direct LLC will always install software correctly, some programs do not work on all computer systems due to a previous virus or malware infection that has compromised the integrity of the operating system. If Computer Repair Direct LLC installs a program for you and you have problems with it, Computer Repair Direct LLC will uninstall it, but will not give continued support on the product.

Client will indemnify and hold harmless Computer Repair Direct LLC for any data or software that may be lost, erased or damaged before, during or after a remote session, and for any results thereafter.

Although Computer Repair Direct LLC will take every precaution to preserve all data and software on clients computer, client acknowledges that occasionally data loss can occur and/or software operation may be compromised.

Remote support sessions can average anywhere between 15 to 45 minutes (excluding virus/malware scanning time). This of course depends upon the speed of your computer, your internet connection and the level of virus / malware infection. On rare occasions, some issues can be tougher to deal with, in these cases; our certified Microsoft, Apple & CompTIA technicians will need more time to resolve your issue.

Clients internet browser cookies will be deleted before a virus or malware scan as some cookies may be harmful. Some cookies may store clients username, password or forms to various websites. It is the sole responsibility of the client to have all usernames, passwords, sitekeys, codes, forms, login information and email addresses stored in a safe place offline. Computer Repair Direct LLC has no ability to recover any of clients usernames, passwords, sitekeys, codes, forms, login information or email addresses under any circumstances.

If client requires training in backup methods and procedures, Computer Repair Direct LLC can provide that training to client for a flat fee of $100. During a remote support session, clients data is always backed up to the clients computer, clients external storage or clients online cloud storage. Computer Repair Direct LLC will never back up ANY data to Computer Repair Direct LLC servers for ANY reason.

Client further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Computer Repair Direct LLC for any and all hardware or software malfunctions or accidents that may occur before, during or after work is performed on clients computer, and for any results thereafter.

Virus Removal & Malware Removal: Computer Repair Direct LLC cannot control how a virus or malware has affected clients computer before, during or after removal. Furthermore, there is no guarantee or warranty that a virus or malware will never circumvent any product either purchased from Computer Repair Direct LLC or any other brand that is free, or any brand that you may buy online or off the shelf.

Virus & malware removal service is only available for consumer based Microsoft & Apple operating systems (Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, 8.1, 10 & MAC OS X). For server based Microsoft & Apple operating system support including but not limited to Windows Server & MAC OSX Server editions, please fill out the contact form on our support page and request a quote.

RansomWare: RansomWare removal / decryption is not included with our virus & malware removal service.

Confidentiality Agreement: Any private information stored on clients computer or in view by a Computer Repair Direct LLC technician during a remote support call will be held confidential unless required by law.
